El día 25 nos visitó la Sra. Consejera de Empleo, Desarrollo local e Igualdad del Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Sra. Isabel Guerra Sánchez, acompañada de la jefa de servicio, Sra. Agustina Mendez Perera, y nuestra coordinadora, Sra. Lourdes Díaz Garcia.
Han podido entonces visitar nuestras instalaciones que compartimos con el ICCM y el ciclo de grado medio de operaciones piscícolas F.P. "Casas Nuevas".
La consejera tuvo la oportunidad de hablar con nuestros/as alumnos/as- trabajadores/as, y les comentó que tenía una buena impresión de nuestro taller por lo observado en el blog, y en "directo".
También comentó la posibilidad de realizar prácticas en empresas del sector de la acuicultura y en entidades públicas (ICCM, IAA, ITC), una vez finalizado el Taller de Empleo de Cultivos Marinos en diciembre del 2007, para lo cual proporcionará becas por parte de la consejería. De hecho, la realización de prácticas en empresas es una de las herramienta básica para la inserción laboral de nuestros/as alumnos/as-trabajadores/as en las empresas de cultivos marinos y en empresas afines en nuestra Comunidad Autónoma Canaria.
Esperamos que se puedan realizar dichas prácticas y agradecemos la visita de la consejera al Taller.
